Sony Erricson Wall & Ball
Oof developed the 'Clip Wall' and the 'Sony-Erricson Ball' as interactive installation concepts for store interiors with the aim to engage mainly younger visitors. The creative and fun element was from the outset central to oof's approach.
'Sony-Erricson Ball'
Visitors select mp3 tracks from the display phone and compete with others to see who might make the balls jump out of the vertical speaker.
The video shows an art installation in Hampstead, North London which was our starting point. The final in-store proposal involved an interactive unit in the store where visitors could select music tracks from display phones. They would compete with their track selections as different tracks would result in varying 'ball activity', making for a fun experience in the store.

'Clip Wall'
A wall is formed by stacking colored acrylic boxes that serve either as phone displays or as digital photo frame containers. Each frame is connected to a set of headphones and the modular system is easily expandable. Visitors can take photos, select tracks and compile short video clips or slideshows on a touch screen terminal. They can then upload them on the Clip Wall where any visitor to the store can view them and register to vote for the best clip so that winners win prizes. The system can expand online and can be used for holding competitions.
